Working Principle
Pollutants in the sewage are categorized into soluble organic matter and insoluble substances (SS). Under specific conditions, soluble organic matter can be transformed into insoluble substances. A common sewage treatment method involves the addition of coagulants and flocculants, facilitating the conversion of soluble organics into insoluble substances. Consequently, the removal of all or most non-soluble substances (SS) is achieved using air flotation, effectively purifying the sewage.
Post-dosing, the sewage is channeled into the air float mixing zone, where it integrates with the released dissolved air water. Tiny bubbles, sized between 20-40µm, are liberated, enabling the flocculant to cling to these bubbles. This mixture then proceeds into the air float zone. Air buoyancy causes the flocs to ascend, creating a scum layer on the water's surface. As cleaner water is collected and directed towards a clear pool, part of it recycles as dissolved gas, while the surplus flows out via the overflow port. Once scum accumulates to a certain thickness, it is efficiently scraped and transferred into the air float sludge tank for disposal.

 

The GSRF series dissolved air float machine is expertly designed for solid-liquid or liquid-liquid separation processes. Through its advanced gas dissolution and release system, the machine generates numerous fine bubbles. These bubbles adhere to solid or liquid particles in the wastewater, whose density is nearly equal to water, resulting in an overall density lower than water. This buoyancy effect allows particles to ascend to the surface, ensuring effective solid-liquid or liquid-liquid separation..
