Working principle
Pollutants in sewage, comprising soluble organic matter and insoluble substances (SS), undergo transformation under specific conditions. Soluble organic matter can become non-soluble, a process facilitated by coagulants and flocculants. This allows soluble organics to convert into insoluble substances. The air flotation method prominently removes these substances, effectively purifying sewage by eliminating SS through this advanced technique.
Post-dosing reaction, sewage transitions to the air float's mixing zone and interacts with released dissolved air water. This process liberates 20-40um micro-bubbles, which carry flocculants into the air float zone. The buoyant force of air elevates these flocs to the surface, forming scum. Clean water descends to a clear pool through a water collector, where it's partly recycled for dissolved gas usage, and the remainder exits via the overflow port. Scum, once reaching a specified thickness, is swept into the air float sludge tank by a scraper for discharge.
