Working Principle
In the realm of sewage treatment, pollutants are categorized as soluble organic matter and insoluble substances (SS). With the right conditions, soluble organic matter can be transformed into non-soluble substances. A pivotal method for treating sewage involves adding coagulants and flocculants, facilitating the conversion of soluble organic material into insoluble form. This process enables the removal of either all or most of the non-soluble substances (SS), achieving exceptional sewage purification. Central to this process is the air flotation method, a leading technique for effective SS removal.
Once the dosing reaction is complete, the treated sewage advances into the air float's mixing zone, where it blends with dissolved air water. This results in the release of air from the water, forming minuscule bubbles of 20-40μm. These bubbles adhere to the flocculant, proceeding into the air flotation zone. Here, the buoyancy effect lifts the flocs to the surface, forming a layer of scum. Clean water, after being filtered, flows into the clear pool via the water collector. A portion of this water is recycled for gas dissolution, while the remainder exits through the overflow port. Accumulated scum is efficiently scraped into the sludge tank by a mechanical scraper once it reaches a set thickness.
